On 6 and 7 December 2018, the second Change Finance Forum has taken place in Brussels. The first edition was a great success and it had welcomed 200 thought leaders from 19 countries and 4 continents, and the energy was fantastic. For this second edition, the Finance, Law, and Economics working group was thrilled to be part of it!

Our session - jointly organised with Finance Watch and the University of Glasgow - has explored the potential for collaboration between academics and NGOs working on issues relating to finance and social justice. Academic and NGO panellists have discussed recent research topics and explored the potential of a new format for conferences and workshops: a call for problems approach.

This session has been hosted in preparation for an upcoming Workshop on Finance & Social Justice, to be held on March 21 - 22, 2019. Applications are open now!
